Neutralised transfer and kilometre zero 🚩
From the centre of Voghera, the peloton leaves Piazza Duomo along Via Cavour, Via Gramsci, Corso Ventisette Marzo, Via Papa Giovanni XXIII and Via Carducci. Racing begins in Torremenapace, where kilometre zero is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
First section - The flat circuit 📍
The opening section is fast and flowing. The peloton completes three passages through Torremenapace, Corana, Cervesina, Pancarana, Pizzale and Oriolo, on open roads among fields and small towns across the Oltrepò plain. After approximately 80 km, the race returns towards Voghera.
Second section - Towards the Staffora Valley ⛰️
From Voghera the route changes character, crossing Rivanazzano Terme, Casalnoceto, Volpedo and Pozzol Groppo before reaching Monticelli. The flat roads give way to the hills, where the elevation gain and repeated changes of pace begin to split the field.
The final circuit in Godiasco Salice Terme 🏁
The race is decided on the circuit through Monticelli, Strada dell’Alta Collina, Montalfeo and Godiasco Salice Terme, completed three times. The riders pass through Godiasco Salice Terme at approximately kilometres 108 and 129 before the final finish at kilometre 149. According to the average speeds in the timetable, the finish is expected between 4:18 pm and 4:55 pm.
💛 A route that tells the story of the Oltrepò Pavese in all its forms: from the speed of the plains to the more demanding roads through villages, vineyards and hills. 🍇⛰️

Main places along the route
Voghera - The start 📍
The meeting and official team presentation take place in Piazza Duomo, in the heart of the city. Voghera, the ancient Roman Iria, features landmarks including the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Visconti Castle and the Teatro Sociale.
🚴 The peloton leaves at 12:45 pm, rides through the city streets and reaches kilometre zero in Torremenapace at 1:00 pm.
The Oltrepò plain - The opening circuit 🌾
Corana, Cervesina, Pancarana, Pizzale and Oriolo are the key places in the first half of the race. The circuit is completed three times, taking the riders along flat roads, cultivated fields and small settlements where the speed of the peloton takes centre stage.
Volpedo and Pozzol Groppo - Into the hills 🍇
After Rivanazzano Terme and Casalnoceto, the race reaches Volpedo, the village associated with painter Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, before continuing to Pozzol Groppo. From here the scenery changes as the roads rise towards Monticelli and Alta Collina, among vineyards and views across the Staffora Valley.
Alta Collina and Montalfeo - The decisive section ⛰️
The final three laps cross Monticelli, Strada dell’Alta Collina and Montalfeo. This is the most demanding section of the race: climbs, descents and accelerations can create the decisive split before each passage through Godiasco Salice Terme.
Godiasco Salice Terme - The finish 🏁
Godiasco Salice Terme, with its long-standing spa tradition in the Staffora Valley, hosts the final circuit and finish. The race passes beneath the finish line at approximately kilometres 108 and 129 before the final arrival at kilometre 149.
🌿 From the city to the plains and on to the Staffora Valley hills, every section of the Freccia dei Vini highlights a different side of the Oltrepò Pavese.
