Wine Roads 2021 — Oltrepò’s “Anello diVino” Loop
A route of about 35 km retracing the final section of the 18th stage of the 2021 Giro d’Italia, through hills, vineyards and historic villages. The experience blends sport, territory and food & wine: winery stops, guided tastings and visits to the most representative locations of the Oltrepò Pavese.
Sunday, September 26 — Program
- 10:00 — Meeting point at the Municipal Sports Center
- 10:30 — Start of “Wine Roads” on the Anello diVino loop
- 11:30 — Book presentation “Risottimo” by Stefano and Paolo Calvi
- 12:30 — Risotto lunch prepared by the Santa Chiara Institute of Stradella
- 14:30 — Screening of the UCI Road World Championships on big screen
- 17:30 — Tasting masterclass by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò DOC
Route & Experience
A smooth hilly route on secondary roads: views over vineyard rows and iconic passages of the Anello diVino. Along the route there will be food and wine stops in local wineries and farms with tastings and short vineyard visits.
- Distance: ~35 km · Surface: asphalt/secondary roads
- Suitable for: regular bikes and e-bikes (rentals available on site)
- Pace: leisurely, with expert guides and mechanical assistance
Requirements & Safety
- Helmet required for all participants (free Limar helmet worth €70 included)
- Health self-declaration to be signed at registration
- If using your own bike, ensure correct condition and maintenance (brakes, tires, gears)

Fee: € 50 (participation with your own bike).
Includes: food/wine stops, guides, mechanical assistance, program activities and a free Limar helmet.

Notes
The events are non-competitive and purely touristic, cultural and food-and-wine oriented. Guests of the day include journalists and former professional athletes as speakers and guides.
