Information – 45th Parallel Historic Cycling Ride

On Saturday 23 May 2026, Voghera becomes the meeting point for lovers of vintage cycling with the first edition of the 45th Parallel Historic Cycling Ride.

The event was created to celebrate the authentic charm of the bicycle and the deep bond between sport, territory and tradition, with a non-competitive spirit: here, cycling means experience, sharing and discovering the Oltrepò Pavese.

Start and finish will be at the Visconti Castle area in Via Cairoli, Voghera. While waiting for the Giro d’Italia stage start on the following day, the event aims to leave a lasting legacy: helping participants and visitors fall in love with an authentic Oltrepò, experienced through its landscapes, culture and flavours.

Registration opens at 8:00 at the Visconti Castle area in Voghera. To register in advance: download, fill in and follow the instructions in the registration form .

A day dedicated to bicycles, cycling memory and the local area: the 45th Parallel Historic Cycling Ride will bring the charm of vintage cycling to the heart of Voghera, with a historic start, a cycling memory museum, activities for children and a final convivial moment.
